About the Budds

Where do I begin:

It all started Once upon a time in the far away land known by all as New York City a young (okay 30 yr old) maiden said to her friends. "Where are all the fine princes in this land?" One dear friend (you know who you are) said to look to the land of infinite possibilities - (why the internet of course!) And from there our story truly begins. With a click of a button and a long, long, long survey of questions.... BAM a match was made! Who knew that just one little click in March of 2008 would lead this fair maiden to the most awesome of unions (this coming June 13th - look for the sequel).

The chemistry was instant and she almost didn’t want to believe this might be the "prince" she’d been looking for. He was intelligent, witty, handsome, passionate, God loving man....could he be the man she was looking for but until now had yet to meet. A true romantic at heart, this man wooed her with flowers, generosity, chocolates, words, and most importantly.....unconditional love.

Theirs was a courtship of weekends in NYC and various spots in NJ (LBI, Moorestown, Cherry Hill, and Wildwood) and many more stops in between. The chariots (NJ Transit) that whisked her to her love weekend after weekend were a life (or shall we say "love") saver indeed.

This most handsome and generous prince had a family that was just as generous and made the fair maiden feel at home when visiting NJ on the weekends (many thanks to Sir George and Lady Betty for their kindness and generosity of sharing their home). For without it their meetings would have been few and far between. But soon these arrangements would not longer be needed

On a snowy night in January in the woods of Central Park this young (you knew he was younger than her right?) prince betrothed his love for her through song and poetry. Her heart skipped a beat as she accepted his proposal. And BAM just like that click she was off and planning for the event of her life (to date of course).

The prince’s generous family didn’t not stop with Sir George and Lady Betty....they also had two fair maidens one of which so graciously offered her housing for the fair maiden to dwell until their union in June. (Lady Courtney....many thanks for providing housing in the new land of Brotherly Love).

And they all lived........happily ever after beginning June 13, 2009.
